Work with me

I currently work full-time as a Strategy Director at TBWA Sydney with clients including Coca-Cola, Apple, and the NSW Government. For more information on my strategic skills, click here.

I work in my spare time as an artist and designer. I am occasionally available for commissions - please email me with details of what you are looking for. I specialise in brand and design for theatre marketing and portrait painting (oil/gouache). I have designed all the marketing and brand materials for Scratchworks Theatre Company to date since the founding of the company.

Clients Include: Scratchworks Theatre Company, Lady Astor of Hever, Zurich, Running Dog Theatre, Annabel Norton MUA, Tom Stronach Hair, Model Diplomacy, Youth Music Theatre, the Rose Theatre Kingston, Jack Stanley.

Anna Thairs is a multidisciplinary British-Indian artist and strategist, currently living and working in Sydney.

To date, my artistic practice has been concerned with the intersection of humanity and nature as a way of understanding our internal mental landscape. I have always been fascinated by the process of creation - of mark-making, mixed-media works and the interplay of various disciplines as a way to create a coherent whole.

I’m currently interested in truth, fiction and subjectivity, particularly in relation to the art world and culture, and how we communicate worlds, societal norms and lived experiences through the visual. My current focus is on curatorial narratives and the self-referential awareness of fictions within art. I am interested in the intersection of mythology and art - where belief systems begin and end, and how we distinguish between the real and unreal. I am currently interested in creating a body of work representing the curation of artefacts from an invented society to further explore the concepts of cultural fabric, myth-making and the lived experience of systemic change, through the lens of multidisciplinary practise.

Other than painting, drawing and designing, I like cereal in the afternoon, reading and making short films. I blog about solo female travel at annaexploring.com, and have been interviewed on intersectionality and diversity by Mavens and Strategy Sheroes.
